Lisa Pickell is President of Orren Pickell Building Group, where she has led transformative growth and innovation in luxury homebuilding and remodeling. She joined the firm in 2004 as Remodeling Division Manager, was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in 2010, and assumed the role of President in 2017.

Throughout her career, Lisa has been widely recognized for her leadership in the construction and design industries. Known for her commitment to quality and inclusive leadership, Crain’s Chicago Business named her among the “Notable Women in Construction and Design” (2020). In 2019 she was recognized as one of 15 honorees in the North Shore Women in Business Awards. She has also been featured in Modern Luxury: CS as one of Chicago’s “Dynamic Women” (2018), recognized by Constructech magazine as one of the nation’s leading Women in Construction (2017), honored as Remodeler of the Year (2009) by the Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago, and included in Professional Remodeler magazine’s prestigious “40 Under 40” (2011).

A leader in civic engagement, Lisa was elected to the Chicago Architecture Center Board of Trustees in 2023, building on her docent service since 2015—where she regularly leads the CAC River Cruise, voted USA Today’s #1 Boat Tour in North America.

She is also a member of Vistage Worldwide (2018 Member of the Year) and a volunteer diver with the Shedd Aquarium’s marine mammal program.

Lisa earned her business degree in marketing with a minor in art and architectural history from Miami University (Oxford, OH). She continues to champion innovation, mentoring, and excellence in design-build—and beyond.
