Orren Pickell’s new house construction process consists of four phases:

Phase One: Developing the Concept for Your Dream House

Phase Two: Preliminary Planning of Your New Construction Home

The next step in the new house construction process involves developing preliminary plans including site plans, floor plans and elevations. We’ll work with you ensure the site selected will meet your needs, taking into consideration factors like lot size and zoning, height restrictions and setbacks.

Then, we’ll develop detailed floor plans based on our brainstorming and info-gathering sections with you, ensuring we include all of the details that make your custom home feel like home for you. We’ll include elevation views in our architectural drawings so that you will have a clear picture of what your new home construction will look like when it is complete and will develop a preliminary estimate of the project’s costs. We’ll revise the plans based on your feedback, and will present a final site plan and project budget for your approval.

Phase Three: Custom Home Construction

After you approve the site plan and budget, the Orren Pickell Building Group will move forward with developing construction plans for your new custom house, providing a two-dimensional view of all of your home’s details. We’ll use these plans to secure the necessary municipal permits, then we will begin construction of your dream home.

Throughout the process, your dedicated Orren Pickell project manager will be in continual communication with you, keeping you apprised of the construction process, answering your questions and handling any last-minute changes. Your project manager will work with you through the completion of your custom home, ensuring that all of your punch-list items are finished to your satisfaction and that you’re delighted with the end result.

Phase Four: Luxury Home Maintenance (Optional)

To keep your new custom home looking good and functioning as smoothly as possible, consider working with the Orren Pickell Maintenance team.
