Orren Pickell Building Group, one of the Midwest’s most respected names in luxury custom homebuilding and remodeling, today announced key leadership updates as part of its ongoing commitment to operational excellence and client experience. Eric Pickell has been promoted to Vice President of Construction, while Sarah Rudy joins the company as Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
These strategic moves reflect Orren Pickell’s continued investment in strengthening its leadership team, enhancing collaboration across departments, and ensuring every project delivers the craftsmanship, innovation, and client-focused service for which the company is known.
Eric Pickell Promoted to Vice President of Construction
In his new role, Eric Pickell oversees all aspects of the company’s construction operations, leading teams responsible for project execution, safety, quality, and client satisfaction. He brings deep cross-functional experience to the position, having previously led the company’s sales and marketing team — a perspective that enhances his ability to align construction delivery with client expectations and organizational goals.
Eric’s passion for homebuilding began early, from giving model home tours as a child to working in maintenance and later serving with Sussex County Habitat for Humanity through AmeriCorps. Today, that lifelong dedication fuels his leadership approach, centered on quality, consistency, and efficiency from groundbreaking through final walkthrough.
As Vice President of Construction, Eric will guide policies and processes that strengthen project management, develop client-centric teams, recruit and retain top subcontractors, and ensure every Orren Pickell home reflects the company’s unwavering standards of craftsmanship and service.
Sarah Rudy Joins as Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Orren Pickell also welcomes Sarah Rudy as Vice President of Sales and Marketing, where she will oversee the company’s strategic growth, branding, lead generation, and client experience initiatives.
Sarah brings a unique combination of leadership experience and design expertise, including years with a prominent semi-custom homebuilder in Wisconsin, where she guided clients through the building process while driving growth in sales and satisfaction. Her earlier career leading large retail teams honed her skills in strategy, operations, and team development — all of which she now brings to her work with Orren Pickell.
A hands-on homebuilder and remodeler herself, Sarah’s personal experience deepens her appreciation for thoughtful design and quality craftsmanship. She is passionate about building strong client relationships and ensuring every homeowner’s journey with Orren Pickell is seamless, rewarding, and inspiring.
Leadership Perspective
“These leadership moves strengthen two of the most critical areas of our business — construction and client experience,” said Lisa Pickell, President of Orren Pickell Building Group. “Eric’s promotion reflects both his deep operational expertise and his holistic understanding of how to deliver exceptional results for our clients. Sarah brings a fresh perspective and proven leadership that will help us grow while staying true to the personalized, high-touch service our clients expect. Together, they’ll help guide Orren Pickell Building Group into its next chapter.”
